Welcome to the screening room

Films built to be felt, not just finished

Lumen is a small studio making feature films, shorts, and documentaries for people who still turn the lights all the way off before pressing play.

Made by a room of eight, not a studio lot

We started Lumen in a converted garage with one camera and a shared conviction: most films are cut for the trailer, not the person watching alone at 11pm who needs it to actually land.

A decade later we're still small on purpose. Every project passes through the same eight people, from the first outline to the final color pass, so nothing gets smoothed into something safer along the way.
